This is extremely bad
NEW: In June, ProPublica reported that the FDA has given more than 20 foreign factories a special pass to send drugs to the U.S. even though they were made at plants the agency had banned.

Today, we’re publishing a list of those exempted drugs.

We live in an oligarchy.

The Supreme Court laid the foundations for it.

Billionaire families and powerful business interests bankrolled it.

Their elected stooges built it.

The dark money networks and allied media sold it.

Many voters bought it.

Now, we’re all going to pay for it.
CBS canceled Colbert’s show just THREE DAYS after Colbert called out CBS parent company Paramount for its $16M settlement with Trump – a deal that looks like bribery.

America deserves to know if his show was canceled for political reasons.

Watch and share his message.

It’s easy peasy. Call 1-(202) 224-3121. Ask for your representative, give your zip code if you don’t know, and theyll connect you. Tell them to vote NO on Trump's budget-busting, Medicaid-shattering bill. YOUR CALL IN MATTERS!!

The funding for these long COVID research grants was given back bc disability activists urged us to contact our reps persistently, in high volume, and we did. Remember that these tactics work the next time someone tries to get you to passively react instead of taking an active part in organizing!

Great Barrington Declaration co-author Jay Bhattacharya has been confirmed as our NIH director.

He is a professional merchant of doubt, an anti-vax adjacent misinformation peddler, and completely unqualified to run—let alone work for—the agency.

It’s a dark day for our republic.
Too often when we talk about the Great Barrington Declaration, we treat it as though it was purely the product of a right-wing dark money group.

But a key Trump COVID adviser helped organize the conference out of which it emerged—a detail that we too often overlook.
“The Great Birdington Declaration”: The Origins of Kennedy’s Avian Flu Herd Immunity Plan Explained
The idea of letting a dangerous pathogen rip for herd immunity emerged out of right-wing efforts to reopen the economy at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Office of Long COVID Research and Practice will close as soon as this week, according to an internal HHS email obtained by Inside Medicine.

This is the opposite of what you would do if you were genuinely interested in finding treatments for chronic diseases, as RFK claims.

Why did senators not ask Makary or bhattacharya about their pandemic records?

I mean here’s Makary saying in 2021 that immunity is probably lifelong.

Doesn’t this say important things about his credibility and willingness to stick to the evidence?

It got erased.
