Maybe not FPS/Performance, but it's certainly resolved egregious graphical issues like textures or shaders streaming in incorrectly

Agreed for sure - and as someone who played it at release I still extremely recommend it to any turn-based JRPG fan.

Yeaaah Skies of Arcadia might not have revolutionary game systems but it's story and characters are very hard not to fall in love with

Yeah, it's a technically correct depiction of skating but wholly detached from any actual skateboarding culture. I don't think that stops the gameplay being enjoyable but it definitely hampers the overall feel for sure. Skating is more than just sanctioned tricks and clothing brands.
