I heard InkTober is a thing? Trying out brushed Windsor & Newton Indian ink mixed with water on watercolour paper. Some white gelly roller as well.

Greyscale markers and B&W inks. I'm starting to really like the Posca white pens. The elf lady was done with Copic markers that has a brush tip, allowing layers of shading.

Some quick faffing around with markers and ink. It's quite satisfying how big they are... almost like between a brush and pen. Some of the colours on the lady didn't look less vivid scanned, I think it's because they are flourescent.

Been away over the holidays so I decided to go back and try some traditional media. I’m trying out markers for the first time. Haven’t drawn on paper for decades so I feel quite rusty, and yes… I know the symmetry on the eyes are wonky. 😂 forgive, please 🫰

Concept and WIP from the covert art of the Merger Remnant & The Holy Flesh split album that I did. The concept art is me presenting the idea, WIP is the art beginning to to be fleshed out. The idea was to get it more like a "renaissance painting". Neither band was very happy with the progress.
