This is fascinating, I had no idea punctuation was compensating for cues we receive IRL even though I’ve been doing it for who knows how many years now lol!
I’m a softer punctuator than you I think, but I’m not criminally cheery with constant multiple exclamation marks and emojis.

This show is chock full of them. I’m really curious if the only other season they’re adding to it will be half as philosophical, or if it will be forced to lean into the traditional Star Wars camp.

I mourn that loss, and the permanent loss of trust from our (potentially former) allies. I understand that even if we were to somehow pull out of this, no one is willing to deal with the economic and political whiplash every four years.

It isn’t flirtation over here. It’s a commitment. Policies, people and ideologies are now very deeply embedded into our governmental structure (whatever that is, it’s too shattered to recognize any discernible shape at this point).

Europe must; the US will never again be trustworthy. It will (maybe) be (some) of the nations that will emerge from the rubble once America has fully and completely finally obliterated itself. Like rotted food, we can’t simply be restored to health.

It’s more like finding out they’ve been killing small animals for fun. I’m not exaggerating or making some macabre joke. The stuff happening here (and being forced abroad, see: threats to annex Canada and to post troops to steal 50% of Ukraine’s minerals) is EVIL.

This is the first one coming down the pipeline (this administration) to finally hit me personally.
I high key wish I became a maniacal berserker or something potentially useful when I don’t have access to SSRIs. Unfortunately instead I will be essentially neutralized.

Oh fascinating! I read some intro level stuff about fascism about a year ago, like Chris Hedges “American Fascists”, so I have an acceptable grasp of what fascism is, but not cults! It’s interesting to hear the term “high control groups”, that’s not something I’ve heard before.
