The village-building and huge cast add charm, even if exploration and pacing can drag. Visually it’s closer to the first game, with some performance hiccups, but the music and QoL features shine. A demanding, lengthy, but genuinely rewarding return to Orsterra.

The environments and visuals show their age, but the remaster’s polish and improved accessibility make this a perfect chance to revisit a genuine classic. A sincere, character-driven adventure that reminds us why Tales still matters.

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, a heartfelt remake that beautifully captures the warmth, humor, and sincerity that made Falcom’s classic so beloved.

The result is a fascinating but frustrating experience: ambitious in vision, uneven in execution, and ultimately unable to live up to the legendary name it bears.

Clunky combat, repetitive structure, and a heavy-handed script often sabotage the tension it tries so hard to build. The visual novel-inspired progression is a daring experiment but one that strips away too much player agency, while forced, tedious battles sap the horror of its power.

Visually stunning and narratively ambitious, Silent Hill f stands out for its bold thematic ideas, strong direction, and evocative world-building. Yet, beneath its haunting presentation lies a game at odds with itself.
