A character from the show within a show, Oh Crikey! that appeared in one episode of The Young Ones. The character is a man has just accidentally had his trousers fall down as he is trying to catch his dog, as the local vicar calls round. He looks up at the camera and says "Oh Crikey." He is played by John Owens. Oh Crikey! is on the television in The Young Ones house.

We hav a young apple tree in the back garden. This is the first year it's bour fruit, and it's bending over with the weight. Someone had the bright idea of pegging it to the clothes line, but every time I take the last thing off the line, it twangs and an apple goes flying!
