Got the 10 year anniversary of To Pimp A Butterfly for my birthday which is a huge upgrade from the bootleg I have which has the tracks out of order. The order would bother me regardless but is even more important with this album. #NowSpinning

I am working on trying to create some derived properties in my CoreData model to count the amount of entries for a tag based on entry type. I shared in the image the total count that is working but the subquery that is not working. Any help would be appreciated. #CoreData #iOSDev #BuildInPublic

Stole some time during naps today to work on styling my list views. Learned a little about .listStyle in SwiftUI and now I have edge to edge items in the list. The default behavior left some padding I didn't like. Went with style .plain and got the look I wanted. #SwiftUI #BuildInPublic #iOSDev

Also got a basic implementation of local notifications working last night. Trying to decide if this is sufficient or if I want to try and set up a server for push notifications to allow for more dynamic notifications. #swiftui #buildinpublic #iosdev

Made some progress on the insights page of my journaling app the last couple days. Got some basic stats on entry types and streaks in there. Next some insights on the tags you use. Feels nice to turn an empty view into something. #swiftui #buildinpublic #iosdev

Figured out my issue with the calendar view. Had to update the array in the background to avoid the view updating. Also put together a rough draft on the home page. Feels good to get the rough draft complete although it was nice to work through a problem. #swiftui #buildinpublic #iosdev

Spent some time working on a week view date picker. Stuck on an issue adding more weeks to the array. When swiping back I add more weeks to the front of the array when I get to index 0. It then jumps to the new 0 index instead of staying on the current week. #iosdev #buildinpublic #swiftui

Spent some time tonight refactoring code and putting together some color assets. Still a long ways from how I want it to look but focused on learning and getting the core functionality working before worrying to much about the UI #swiftui #iosdev #buildinpublic
