No, I was not at the inauguration today. There is one other Zander Goss in the world, from Florida (which probably explains the ludicrous idea of going to the inauguration). I used to get his emails a lot (including one time he tried to email himself his homework and accidentally sent it to me).

The quaintest thing today was the surprise gift in the envelope: a keychain for carrying a Union flag shopping trolley token (with Camden coat of arms on the reverse)

After 4 student visas, two spousal visas, and getting Indefinite Leave to Remain, today I took UK citizenship. After a celebratory lunch, I took my first sip of tea as a British national (I retain my US citizenship)
