I love this! A group of #TCD filmmakers created a #film in Sumerian, the language of ancient Mesopotamia (now #Iraq). I truly appreciate their dedication and creativity, it's remarkable. As someone originally from Iraq living in #Ireland, this makes me so happy ❤️

Tonight's dinner was vegetarian tacos filled with sautéed onions, red bell peppers, kidney beans, and spices, all topped with melted cheese and lettuce. It was sooooo good 😋

I'm rewatching Schitt's Creek and I forgot how funny it is. I love how the Rose family goes from being spoiled and clueless to actually growing into better people.

Crazy that the supreme court in the US didn't consider the conflict of interest when changing the law and instead prioritized freedom of speech.

If scientists do the same, many people could die, and the rest could end up using snake oil for everything!

Today, I decided to take a break from writing and spent that time watching a film called The Secret Scripture. The film is absolutely beautiful and moving. Vanessa Redgrave is an amazing actress, she portrayed Rose with such depth and emotion. I love her in Atonement & Evening too

I've 4 main chapters in my thesis, and I've used the same dataset in each one. Hopefully, all of them will be published in journals. It's frustrating that I've to describe the data in each paper, meaning I end up rewriting the same info four times! Sometimes, rephrasing feels like a waste of time!

I love pasta, but many plant based pasta recipes are high in carbs. Today, I bought this high protein fusilli from Tesco, and it was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to try the spaghetti next time.

Both the Democratic and Republican US governments appear indifferent to Israel's crimes and are complicit in the Gaza genocide, which has been known for some time. I hope this article reaches those who are scapegoating the uncommitted voters.
Exclusive: The US gathered intelligence last year that Israel’s military lawyers warned there was evidence that could support war crimes charges against Israel for its Gaza military campaign — operations reliant on US-supplied weapons, ex-US officials said reut.rs/4i7mXy9

Elon Musk's $1 trillion pay deal is incredibly insane. Just look at how many zeros are in it:

1 × 10^12 = 1,000,000,000,000.

Anyone who approved this deal must be out of their mind.

Starbucks has been off my coffee list for three years now. I believe the company is unethical and mistreats its workers. We should support local coffee shops instead of giant chains that rely on unfair labor practices.

Agreed. I hope this wave of change reaches also both Congress and the presidency, promoting values aligned with international law, human rights, and climate justice. Congratulations to Mamdani, I wish him every success in fulfilling his promises.
Zohran Mamdani showed us that generational change, bold ideas, principled stands, and movement building must be the future of a stagnant Democratic Party
