So I was googling info on an waaaaay down ballot and was surprised to see that according to Google he already won the election being held tomorrow. AI sucks and is destroying society.

Four player game of A Feast for Odin. Man I really dig this game. My wife was okay with it and friends said they enjoyed it. Played it with Norwegians expansion and was really interesting to see the spaces on the 4 player sides you don’t see on the 2 player.

I don’t know where Apple got this image for #Psych from but dang it’s terrifying. I took me a second to even realize what it was trying to be. Soooo bad.

It’s that time of year. Pulling the old jar of kimchi from back of the fridge and make a pot of kimchi soup. Soooo good.

August was a good month for game play. Will most likely be a lot less in September with my son back at college but had a lot of fun. #boardgames

Another game of Civolution in the books and wow this is fast becoming my favorite Feld game. Every game has felt different, different strategies and card play different board plans. Will say that in 2 player game the explore action is really powerful if you get it updated & only 1 person does it.

Good lord Google AI is crap. Due to a discussion on camping my wife and I were discussing terms we heard for simple non-shower/bath bathing. Found a list that included a term we hadn’t heard “PTA bath” I had a guess but decided to google it. The AI result is nonsense. 1st response below is right.

Had Key To The City London for a while now unplayed. After a horrible play of KeyMarket that we absolutely HATED (first time I disliked a Key game). This was fun. A lighter version of KeyFlower with enough new twists to be interesting. #boardgamenight #boardgame

Son game home from college today so of course we had to rock a #boardgame Innovation Ultimate with a bunch of the expansions. Crazy game. It’s nuts to me that the Ultimate edition made the game MORE chaotic and crazy! Game literally come down to a coin flip because of a crazy stage 11 card.

I’ve fully discovered that I can enjoy BGA. In person gaming keeps happening but with my son at college online has taken over. #boardgames

Played another game of Istanbul with my students. Just a great little game. Very tempted to try and find the big box edition. #boardgames

10 years ago the great Terry Pratchett passed away. I still remember learning the news during the school day. Was devastating. His words still impact me to this day. His books still touch me and shaped who I am.
GNU Terry Pratchett.

Played Fox Experiment w/ my school club & liked it more at first then I did at 2 (was ready to trade it after the 2 player play). Kids loved chucking tons of dice at the end and final scores were super close. Then finally played Point Salad with my wife who liked it a lot #boardgames

Trekking Through History from Underdog Games is a solid beautiful game. Quick, easy rule set and fun. Still need to try with the little mini expansion it goes with #boardgames

Tried out an old school #boardgame with my gaming club. Anno 1503 by the legendary Klaus Teuber. It’s from 2004 and it kind of shows its age. Dice based high luck, can get locked out of victory paths and if you get a bad set of rolls in a row makes it hard to bounce back

4 player game of Mille Fiori with friends last night. Still such a solidly fun Knizia game. It’s just a clever mix of mini games all smashed together and the expansion adds another fun level. #boardgames
