Went out for a nice dinner with my significant other and got a window seat looking out over Lake Superior with a full moon sparkling over the water. It was so lovely.

Outdoors was beautiful today where I live, and I immersed myself for several hours. Nothing like some fresh autumn air therapy.
Path through a stand of mostly maple trees. Path is covered in orange and gold leaves. Some of the trees have quite a bit of their gold leaves left and a few are still green. Looking upward into a stand of mostly maple trees, some with many gold leaves still on but some bare. The sky is a vivid azure.

A work friend and I met in person for the first time halfway between our respective cities and spent a lovely couple of hours hanging out. Also, perfect autumn day to be out for a drive down by the river.

I took this on a random day on my lake vacation last week, posted it to a cloud appreciation space, and someone asked if they could paint it.
A small tree-filled island on a northern MN lake with cattails and bullrushes in the foreground. The lake is fairly calm with just a small amount of rippling. The sky is bright blue with scattered cotton ball clouds that are reflected in the surface of the lake.

Sunset from my recent trip to Key West when we stopped on the side of the road to watch the sun go down.
Sunset from the roadside of a bridge in the Florida Keys. Sun is framed by power poles that are sticking out of the ocean with power lines above. The sky is many shades of orange and gold. The sun is reflected in the water all the way back to the shoreline.

He does gorgeous work. He invited me and my two friends to his studio and helped us each make something to bring home, which was an amazing experience.

I was able to bring back some of my cousin's hand-blown glass from Japan, and it fills me with joy every time I look at it.
