Congrats to Mayor-Elect Jeromy Farkas! I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Jeromy while he was CEO of GRPF. Our interest in Park Preservation resulted in a few meetings. He has Nose Creek Park creation in his platform, so I’m looking forward to collaborating with him on this! #yyc #yyccc

I will push for a more equitable tree canopy but we also need to be mindful of grasslands nesting birds. They wont nest with trees around (Perching Predators). Let’s not put trees in the Nose Creek valley to hit a canopy quota instead target communities in need.
