Second, OMiSO adaptively updates stimulation parameters online to compensate for changes in the brain’s response to stimulation. It updates the stim-response inverse model during the experiment, leading to improved accuracy in inducing the target brain state. [3/n]

First, OMiSO uses brain state information to choose stimulation parameters that drive neural population activity toward a specified state. We found that the pre-stim states affect post-stim states and leveraging this improves the prediction accuracy of brain responses. [2/n]
