I wonder if any of the deliberations, emails, etc. can be FOIA'ed about this? There's a paper trail, it needs to be retained and publicized. I would like to see a civil rights investigation against Steven Hood and anyone else involved from a future DOJ with a functioning civil rights division.

In the past, say 24 hours, if you've spent more than a few minutes fighting with a rando about an election that's 3 years away I would suggest finding one of your area's lovely independent coffee shops and having a conversation with someone about the weather.

It's bad that someone is a paid political commentator at a reasonably large institution and they are currently having the argument they want to be having while everyone else is having a distinctly different one.

uuuuugh went to a software project documentation page and the interface was a chatbox goddamn it. please put a fucking README with examples or even a description of what the thing does. why would I want your alternative to kafka when I haven't found a convincing reason to use it in the first place?

Nice to see AA baseball represented on AEW even if it is a division rival of my team. The Trash Pandas have managed to win the marketing race but not so much the winning games part.

oh cool we're again pretending that dumb rich athletic department boosters paying too much for firing coaches is coming out of tax dollars. yes it's a big amount of money but have you noticed it's not happening at state schools that don't have huge revenue generating programs and rich boosters?

Got to vote for the last Democratic governor to win in Alabama as my first election in '98 and man was it downhill from there when my first presidential election was 2000.
I'll go to my grave believing Don Siegelman had potential to be Bill Clinton without the baggage and the second Bush administration recognized that and brought the hammer down on him.
