The work of games (in the age mechanical reproduction) is to pierce through these two frameworks in the manner that cinema did in the early half of the 20th century. Games are reproducible, mass / public oriented, and posessing cult value. In this way, our task is to make art more like games.

Great article. For me, it's a question about related domains of production and social capital. Art is a game (really, a form of play), but it's a game that is presented as either 1. dead and behind a pane of museum glass or 2. belonging to a gated world of MFAs, curators, and the art market.
