As 'Predator: Badlands' dominates the box office, FX has officially announced that its acclaimed Alien franchise television series, Alien: Earth, will return for a second season. The renewal follows the first season’s highly praised run and its dramatic cliffhanger finale. According to Variety, production on Season 2 will begin in London in 2026, marking a shift from the first season’s Thailand-based shoot. Series creator Noah Hawley has also signed a new overall deal with FX and Disney Entertainment Television, further cementing his long-standing relationship with the network. “It has been our privilege to work with Noah for more than a decade on some of FX’s most ambitious and successful series,” said John Landgraf, Chairman of FX. “Noah continues to impress us with his originality and his ability to bring complex stories to life. We look forward to expanding our collaboration on Alien: Earth and beyond.” Hawley expressed similar enthusiasm, stating, “This expanded partnership with Disney Entertainment Television opens exciting new opportunities.
