I miss my nieces every day. They live 3hrs away and with my illnesses it’s often impossible to see them, even on their birthdays. It chips a piece off of my heart every time I miss one due to my health situation. Today is one such day. 💔

The thought of your entire neighbourhood, town & land being razed to the ground is unfathomable to me yet now a reality for so many, incl friends of friends. Nothing of their daily life remains. How tf do you handle that?! I sincerely hope Angelenos will get financial as well as mental health aid.

Protect your peace. It’s not always easy, especially when it concerns other people, but it is so vital. Yesterday I made two decisions to protect mine. It may hurt others for a moment, but I’ve been hurting thus far and it’s time to show myself I matter. You are allowed to choose your own peace too❤️

I remember being a chubby girl of 11 and seeing the crap my idol Kate Winslet received over her shape and being simply astonished by it. ‘Cos.. whut?! To see her now stand up for herself & other women and share such beautiful messages of beauty & kindness fills my forever chubby heart to the brim.❤️

Today has been a nice day. When anxiety is your constant companion it can be hard to find joy, but today I’ve been feeling it several times. Work was fun & fulfilling. Watched a new All Creatures Great & Small ep and now studying for a big life project. Cherishing today’s Up in a sea of Downs. 👍☀️😊

I finished Oscar de Muriel’s Frey & McGray book series yesterday. I have adored my time with those two Edinburgh-based Victorian detectives of the ghostly and I feel truly sad about it being over, even if I will definitely reread to spot all the clues I missed across the 7 books. #bookrec

It has been a year of deep
emotional pain. But one thing that has made a real difference is asking help from my friends. Saying: “I’m not well, do you have the energy to send me a virtual hug?” Asking for help & sharing my pain has been life saving this year, and I’ll remind myself of that forever.

If you need some light in the darkness, I highly recommend watching An Almost Christmas Story on Disney+, a short film by Jack Thorne & Alfonso Cuarón. Stunninggg animation, highest of high cuteness levels and such heart. 🥹😭❤️

Yesterday was a bad day. Today I woke up willing to shake the self loathing that came with it, realising that I deserve better than thinking of myself in that way. A baby step for some, a HUGE one for me.😊
