This is literally the first jumpscare in "The Shining".

I'm finally getting around to playing the sequel to my favorite game.

I didn't think this dahlia plant was ever gonna bloom this year but now it's popping out blooms left and right. This particular variety is called "Fairytale" from Swan Island Dahlias. It's a bit darker in color than normal due to the cooler temps #flowersonfriday #dahlia

I baked myself a meyer lemon pound cake and it turned out pretty alright. This was from a box of premixed ingredients and if I manage to not go into a diabetic coma I'll probably find a simple recipe and bake that sometime this week just for comparison.

I've got slackers like these following me around all day at work. Anytime I stop to do something they'll lay down in front of me and demand attention. The same can be said for the 4 other cats and 2 dogs.

I love everything about this moment especially the little dude that comes in from the right-hand side.

It's that time of year where all of our ewes start having lambs when it gets down into the single digit temps just to add a little more stress to the situation.
