In my experience, 40% of the cars with NM license plates don't use turn signals, whereas 90% of the cars with Texas plates don't use them. Maybe the 40% are Texas transplants.

Years ago I had an I-Pad that I loved, and they effectively bricked it with an update. I swore I'd never go back, but recently started looking at the Apple One package.. until realizing that you can't subscribe without an Apple device.

Better experience than Qobuz, and the closest that I've found to Spotify - though I haven't tried Apple Music. I'd say Tidal has a larger catalog, better interface, and importantly (to me, anyway), it's better at guessing things that I'd be interested in. Naturally YMMV.

I just moved to Tidal after a brief stint with Qobuz, and it's a better experience, for sure. In the interim I'd gone back to using the free Spotify account, and got flooded with ICE recruitment ads ("dangerous illegals roam the streets!"). Spotify sucks.

I didn't see The Long Goodbye until after I saw this documentary, and I realized, he was just playing himself.

CCR is an important passage, but truly, nothing beats Siringo Road. I can never remember the name, until I recall that it has something to do with a knighted Richard Starkey.

As it turns out, the only place I ever saw them perform was in Providence, in 1997 at the first Terrastock.

Instapurchase. I hope that they removed all the nasty digital artifacts that were in the original edition. Need to listen to the bandcamp tracks to see.
