Does anyone know of a good post reformation confession? My class is asking for me to go over one and every confession I find affirms original sin. As someone who think original sin is one of the worst things in historical theology, I would love to write about something else.

I am unfortunately not as big a reader as I want to be. Some of that is my own fault, but also, having to read the same evangelical talking points over and over in my textbooks as made me so cold to the practice that I would literally do anything else. Any advice?

Just realized this while talking to my partner, the US, Israel, and Iran all kinda represent just how toxic the most fundamentalist versions of the Abrahamic religions are and now they are trying to fight each other 😬

Timothy 1 of Seleucia-Ctesiphon/Baghdad (inspiring theologian who had incredible dialogue with Islam and held a great peace with people)
