GOV. @gavinnewsom.bsky.social in TEXAS: “Let’s stand up for the rule of law. Let’s stand up for a system of checks & balances. And let’s stand up for our democracy — for all of us.”

He celebrated the passage of Prop 50 in Abbott’s backyard. Will other states join? #CaliforniaClapback

Some personal news 📚

10 years ago today, Steve Jobs (2015) was released. This year, I am launching a book: a work of 8 writers, analyzing it piece by piece, to appreciate the film as greater than the sum of its parts.

Sign up is now open to find out when you can own a copy of STEVE JOBS MONOGRAPH.

uhhhhhhhh putting the finale on theater screens is what we in the business would call a "win-win"

it's not like you're cannibalizing your audience - Netflix subscribers already paid their monthly fee

She took her very first swim while exploring her outdoor habitat alongside her #1 swim coach and mom, Yuna.

This is a bigger issue than people realize. Not just jobs lost. But their families losing benefits. Landlords losing tenants. Cities and towns losing revenue. This is how recessions start

Ready Fire Aim is no way to govern.
More accurate, fewer words;

"There are plenty of contractors going under".

A friend furloughed 75% of staff (furlough w/paying for health insurance for three months), 50% exec pay cut, 25% rest of staff to keep as many people w/salary.

PS: Wasn't 18F a government office, not a contractor.
