It’s been a while since the fuel supply was interrupted in Tigray. Hundreds of cars are waiting in queueing, while gas stations are asking for a support letter from the woreda commerce office's. As a result, transportation in various places has been affected.

Demonstration themed "Enough is Enough", is happening in Mekelle Romanat Square. The demo's stated "We been through suffering worse than death. Enough 1528 Days of Suffering," We don't need aid, what we need is to return to our homes."

The ❝poor and helpless Tigray❞ narrative is being used to justify Ethiopian rule. Tigray political leadership seem oblivious, while our people remain unaware. Instead of such rhetoric, we should focus on policy choices that can truly empower Tigray.

Despite the poignant tale of hardship suffered by IDPs from western Tigray, the WFP in northwestern Tigray states that aid will only be distributed to those living in the IDP centers, while 75% of the IDPs lives outside the centers with the hosting community.
