I specifically remember this coming up in a critique like 15 years ago, because something in someone’s painting looked off and they insisted that that’s how it just looked in real life. We all decided that they should just change it anyways.

It’s like the right stick controls the swivel of your head while the gyro controls where your eyes are looking, if that makes sense. The Switch Zelda games use this setup, too, when firing an arrow.

So, to answer your question, it’s good enough to play once or twice, but it’s not essential and can’t substitute what human Oath has to offer.
