What is the point if this? I suspect there is a measure of misdiagnosis but fat chance that the spike is "fake" or something. It's like wondering why we discovered more start after we built telescopes

I don't understand the idea of the Tories forming a pact with reform being popular. So reform voters get to back the party they just abandoned and Tory voters get bundled in with the party they despise? Frankly anyone who votes for that is beyond salvation

Suspected this might be the case as I know two British nationals who left in the past year and they're both... Greeks who got British citizenship in years prior.

👇 This is a) obviously correct b) resisted by most in the political class because it makes so much of what we do redundant.
My extremely simple heuristic for the current political system is that until you can go food shopping and think prices haven’t increased / things aren’t expensive etc don’t expect any material political continuity.

It's no surprise that the Russians targeted far-right politicians with bribes etc, they figured out back in the 00's that with 50-60 million they can basically buy every far-right party in Europe - a bargain if anything! The surprise is all the tankies that continue to do it for free.
