Recently finished books by Sayaka Murata, Kazushige Abe, and Jenny Erpenbeck. Although I will always praise "Convenience Store Woman," I'm kinda done with her style of shock lit. And although I like Erpenbeck, maybe limiting myself to one of her books per year is the play.

Aki Kaurismäki's "Shadows in Paradise" is excellent. Can't wait to watch the rest of the Proletariat Trilogy

I wish I could like at least one modern fighting game. I'm glad these new games have their fans, but they're not for me. Maybe Strive is worth another shot? Otherwise, I'll gracefully accept my exile into the realm of the discord fighter.
