Last year, I co-authored a book. I still find it pretty funny, taking into account the severity of my dyslexia. Still, to celebrate this anniversary, please enjoy this data and one of the chapters (apricot-shauna-11.tiiny.site)!

As I'm preparing a lecture called: "The Final Stretch:
How to Release a Game and Not Die in the Process", please enjoy this gif, from one of my old prototypes, that I found in the depths of my drive.

Buildingo was part of an exhibition at @amazefest.bsky.social ! It's amazing to see our little streamer in the wild (all by himself!).

Kicking off @Digital_Dragons with a workshop! Let's go!

As I'm preparing materials for workshops, I would once again like to remind everyone that this is the best GIF to teach about affordance.

I will not be taking questions at this time.

Thank you.

Happy holidays! May you spend this time with people that you care about and they care about you!
P.s.
Every year I make a cursed holiday postcard, so here you go.

Read the book and want to get a horrible drawing of an animal? You know what to do! But seriously, those things help a lot in this algorithmic world, so thank you in advance!

My favorite online bookstore added an origami pumpkin to the moral philosophy and weird sadness books order. I find it oddly fitting.

As we start all over again - it's time for the #pico8 #tweetcart tutorials!
The gen-art gifs must flow!

Do not start digging.
I wanted to create a little cavity for my greenhouse.
Max 30 cm.
It's 6 hours later, the hole is almost 1.5m deep.
I'm not done.
I yearn for the mines.
I don't know how this will end.

Then there are the small things, boat design that clearly shows where people can get inside (little ropes), the bottom of the boat that matches the waves, and holes for people, so you know how much you can fit in a given boat. All elements also fit into the board itself.

Also, This is one of those puzzles that you have to reset constantly, yet it's not an issue. If you look from the top of the board, you can see the selected puzzle below, but when you play, it’s invisible.

Let’s start with the “waves”. Those are constructed like blinds, with different heights, and arnage in a way that horizontal, and vertical movement of bots is very pleasant. Trying to move diagonally though or rotate? Nop, it is awkward as hell.

Titanic (2009) by Raf Peeters is a masterclass in physical design. It’s one of sequential movement puzzles - The goal of the game is to put all of the people into rescue boats. The trick is, that if the boat is full, it stops moving, and that's the only rule you have to remember.

Just got back from Video Games and High culture event in Bari. As always, though-provoking stuff, and as always, I found time to check on my favorite lion.
This dude is from Roman times, and all dignity got rubbed out of him by human hands and rain.

With Joanna we took part in another #LDJam. The topic was Tiny creatures, so, of course, I implemented boids (again!) -I love how flocking behavior comes out of simple rules.
