Anderson performed at DAR multiple times including her farewell tour. DAR lobbied to get her a postage stamp. There is a DAR music scholarship in her name. DAR donated over $1 million to the MA museum for repairs. DAR opened their archives to research on MA/documentary.

There are growing numbers of BIPOC members, and an unofficial podcast “Daughter Dialogues” tells their stories. DAR has been actively working to prove more “forgotten patriots” to bolster BIPOC membership as well. Fwiw, my natl committee superior is a Black woman, also a state officer.
