We’re also highlighting Diamonds for Doulas, a Black-led doula org creating affirming, culturally grounded birth & postpartum support for families. Their doulas stand beside parents with compassion, skill, and deep knowledge helping families feel safe & empowered throughout their birthing journeys.

Our Next Subgrantee Spotlight is Be Kind Birmingham! ✨💜

Be Kind Birmingham is known for their mobile Free Store, which they have run out of a renovated school bus. They consistently show up at libraries throughout the city of Birmingham to supply people with resources they need.

TAKE has been uplifting the voices of our TGNC community members since 2012, and hasn't skipped a beat! By providing direct service, wellness retreats, mentorship, and much more, TAKE has become an irreplaceable staple in Alabama.
