Episode 7: Idolator

Very good balance between intrique, fighting and humor. the banter between Togusa, Batou and Mokoto is peak

Episode 6: Meme

It seems we are all the laughing man
December 7, 2025 at 7:36 PM
Episode 5: Decoy

The Major frolicking in her roots was a fun twist, but in general a pretty great content dump episode to build up the laughing man

78. Pan's Labyrinth - 8/10 (rewatch)

one of my favorite Del Toro flicks. I love how it blends fantasy and wonder into a gritty world. also had a fun discussion about spanish civil war factions with my roomate while watching it

Episode 4: Intercepter

Togusa is such a cool character, he really feels like the brain of the team despite having little to no augments. I love how grounded this episode feels because of it.

The introduction of the laughing man is great too, cant wait to see how they handle their character

Episode 3: Android and I

Had to get a different release for this episode because of some file issues

Not sure how i feel about this episode, its probably the one i remember the most from what i saw a decade ago, but it also has some of the least stakes. Batou has some great banter tho

Episode 2: Testation

Phenomenal.

A really simple but effective story that builds on transhumanism from a pretty interesting angle. I do wonder how concepts like reincaration, spirits and such would be discussed in a post flesh world

Episode 1: Section 9

I got kinda emotional from hearing Atusko Tanaka again, but besdies that this is a great opening episode that really sets the tone and gives us some insight into our major characters. There was more humor in here than i expected, but thats a positive.

Alright its december again. Time to watch another 2 cour anime for my calender. I had a couple options this year: Dororo (1969) and Acrobunch were the standouts, but i wanted to ensure that this show could reach the highs of 2023s zegapain or 2024s Takaraijima.

So i went with something familiar:

77. Flyknight - 6/10

I was hard carried by @risingtypedelta.bsky.social but it was a funny little experience. the gear is pretty poorly balanced as far as i can tell, adn the you cant really play into typical roles

76. CARIMARA: Beneath the forlorn limbs (2025) - 7/10

Solid little puzzle game with a pretty cool secondary easter egg
November 26, 2025 at 8:36 PM
75. Iron Blooded Orphans Season 1 - 6/10

Solid AU but it does not indulge enough in the gritty world its setting up. fights were pretty cool ngl
November 23, 2025 at 8:34 PM
74. Boruto: naruto next generations - 3/10

Reads like fanfiction
November 19, 2025 at 11:11 PM
73. Borderlands: The Pre-sequel - 7/10 (replay again)

I wish athena was available to play in a game with more content
November 18, 2025 at 9:33 PM
72. Chainsaw Man: Reze arc - 8/10

Super expressive and really impressive audiovisual experience. I was locked in for the action even if the character dynamics didnt really vibe with me

71. Eclipsium - 7/10

Incredible audiovisual direction that makes this game triumph where most would fail. really like the mirroring effect at the end of the game, which the game played a bit more with perspective like that
November 10, 2025 at 5:25 PM
70. Apocalypse Hotel - 7/10

Consistantly solid show, but when it wants to it really hits. standout episodes were ep 7, which was funny throughout, and episode 11 which really hit me right in the Existentialism.
November 3, 2025 at 10:15 PM
69. Fallout: London - 6/10

Its both an improvement on FO4s roleplaying mechanics, quest design and ludonarrative. But the mechanics of FO4 are so opposed to the structure the game has that they detract more from it than what they do in FO4.

pretty impressed with the modders tbh
November 1, 2025 at 12:58 PM
68. Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: Memory of Eden - 5/10

improves on the series by having more gay subtext
October 19, 2025 at 9:40 PM
67. The Guardian of Nature Episode 1 - 4/10

It looks pretty but its puzzling is way to simplistic and slow to really engage me. 1am Cheese was not really prepared for that bird puzzle aswell so walking back and forth across a screen for no reason for 10 minutes wasnt very cool
October 5, 2025 at 11:19 PM
66. Fallstruktur - 5/10

You sure do fall
October 5, 2025 at 3:19 PM
65. DREADTOME - 6/10

Solid little shooter, The gunplay itself kind sucks but the vibes and the repulser is great
October 4, 2025 at 8:58 AM
64. Monument Valley 3 - 6/10

There are some cool visuals but like its predecessors the game is just to easy to have any lasting impact
October 4, 2025 at 8:12 AM
63. Hollow Knight: Silksong - 7/10

I love silksong, I hate silksong. Following up my favorite game of all time is not easy. Sometimes skong is magical and endearing and charming and everything is good. Other times you get platforming and bosses that is so frustrating I wanted to drop the game.
