I will be going into town a lot less in the evenings because of the new parking times and tariffs. My house isn’t too near a bus or train station and, as a woman, I don’t feel safe walking home late at night. Other friends saying the same. I’ll spend less which is good for me but not for businesses

@marksandspencers.bsky.social seems to attract elderly female middle class shoppers and yet they’ve taken away the toilets in the new M&S in Liverpool One!They didn’t take into consideration genitourinary symptoms of menopause, or maybe they did but don’t care! Good toilets also win over shoppers!
