To clarify this more, dw about joking like this on my behalf!: I'm really happy with how little emotional impact it's having when I see it mentioned by people I like and trust, especially in a casual/jokey way. So far it's been a good thing, and if that changes, I can mute it 🤷🖤
Trying to figure out if I should mute the word rapture since blahblah big trigger word in my formative religious cptsd BUT I've gotten soooo much better at handling it in the past 5ish years so a part of me thinks it's like, good exposure therapy seeing friends joke about it, right? I think so??

2. Refuses to eat his food unless I'm right there with him supervising (and will come attack my ankles if I stray)

Tis the season of ridiculous overly indulgent pastry stouts soon but it's also gd Massachusetts so actually finding them stocked anywhere is a Herculean effort so LOCALS: IF! You see a 9%+ abv stout with any kind of dessert in its name, SAY SOMETHING. specifically to me. tell me where the yums are.
