I've worked for a long time on this novel. Years. Decades, if you count the screenplay versions that came before it. (I certainly do.)

The world is on fire, but I'm going to keep posting these because my debut novel is coming out in about 2.5 weeks and the insanity of getting it out there is still more calming than anything in the news.

I love a good Dracula/vampire movie as much as the next person, but, for me, nothing can compare to the urgency, vibrancy, beauty, style, horror, or tragedy of Coppola's version of Bram Stoker's Dracula.
