I got my amplifier serviced and lucked into new (old) speakers, so I picked up some records since it's been a while. Nothing much that I haven't heard already, except the bottom one, but still happy.

My gf took me around the Berkeley campus while we were visiting, and a guy and his family tried shooing me away while taking this.

I tried taking this while waiting for the BART during a trip with my gf. I was hoping a slower shutter speed would've created motion blur, but I guess pulling back on the zoom lens negated the effect? Wasn't sure whether to keep or crop out the second person on the right when printing.

Tried making a couple of prints last night, just of my parents to gift to them. I should've cleaned the negatives more carefully, you really can see the little specks of dust, but seeing the latent images emerge was really exciting.

Very crude way of checking for results (projected the negative image then took a picture and inverted it), but relieved that something came out.

Developed my first roll of film at home. I think I messed up a bit cos I accidentally exposed some shots by opening the camera back early but hopefully these come out fine.

A couple of months ago, another teacher from our sister school told me to show the movie "O" to my students so they could see a modern adaptation of "Othello". I'd never seen it before, but now that I have, it makes me want to watch other late 90s/early 00s adaptations of Shakespeare like this.
