I’m really proud to have spoken today at Mayor Olivia Chow’s press conference for the launch of the Renovictions By-Law.
I spoke on what happened to my fam during the pandemic when we were almost renovicted when my dad passed away from COVID.
This is a big win for all tenants

Today we stood w/ Mayor Olivia Chow & tenant orgs to launch Toronto’s Rental Renovictions By-Law! Starting July 31st tenants will have a clear process for N13 cases & compensation for moving costs. Landlords can be fined up to $100k for violations.

Jeannette Jara surpasses the Fascist Right w/33% in the polls. I pray she DOES NOT leave the Communist Party in Chile, as others in her coalition would like. If she does, she'll loose momentum & come off a hypocrite. If you know anything about Chile, you know this is nothing short of a miracle ♥️
