I don't think that part about UCONN is true. Look at their schedule. They played 3 P4 teams, Syracuse Boston College and Duke. They could go undefeated and still be well outside the ~top 8 needed for an at large bid. Meanwhile an undefeated Toledo this year may have been a top 5 conference champ.

Is UCONN a more prestigious job than Toledo at this point? Certainly was when they were in the Big East, but it's been a truly awful decade and change aside from the brief run by the guy who just left. Toledo is stable and competes for the conference title almost every year.
