Hamas didn't choose war. It just took hostages as bargaining chips. Netanyahu didn't want the hostages. He refused all deals Hamas offered. Netanyahu wants genocide and likely even more land so will keep making war.

Hamas might have been hiding in some of the places that Israel bombed but NOT all.
You still haven't explained how deliberately starving a population is about Hamas. Hamas is likely to have had stores of food hidden underground. It was the innocent children inhumane Israel wanted to target & kill.
