Rancho Mirage here, reporting a successful, non-violent protest this am. In spite of the sweltering heat, record numbers participated. Palm Springs to follow tonight. Today's peaceful protest was attended by Brandon Riker, Dem candidate for US Congress CA-41. Rep Ken Calvert was nowhere to be seen.
