Charlie Dalin will have to sail a little higher (against the wind) for a while, simply to avoid breaching the Exclusion Zone.
His gamble has paid off so far, giving himself a >200nm lead over Simon in 2nd & 530nm over Richomme in 3rd. A nice buffer for the next 14.5k nm
