It’s time for the people to start the process of recalling Republican Senators and Representatives that are not standing up to Trump by initiating recall petitions. Show them that Musk’s threat to primary them is not the only way to lose their seat. Start with this asshole. fb.watch/yJ8C07dD1w/?...

Nearly every Republican in the Senate voted to overturn a Biden Admin rule that limited bank overdraft fees to $5.

This rule, initially established by the now gutted CFPB, was expected to save consumers $5 billion annually.

The GOP is the party of junk fees.

As an in-house attorney who has decision-making authority for outside law firm spend, I definitely will be considering whether a firm has capitulated to Trump in making decisions about what firm to send our legal work. I encourage other in-house attorneys to do the same.

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

To the DOJ/FBI who remain,

Your new bosses are going to order you to do unconstitutional things. Unlawful things. Things to achieve their fascist agenda.

Claiming "you were only following orders" did not cut it at the Nuremberg trials.

It will not work here either.

Proceed accordingly.

NY Times reported that Comcast is spinning MSNBC off to a new entity with CNBC and USA Network. www.nytimes.com/2025/02/23/b... Why? I’m betting they are going to sell that entity to a new owner, and I’m guessing it’ll be Elon Musk.

More good news in Santa Rosa…

While more than 75 titles are pending review based on the objections of a few, those that have been given the opportunity to go before a committee have all been retained.

So while Trump was speaking today from the WH, he mentioned that Larry Ellison and Rupert Murdoch were there with him, and he effusively praised them. Is that what you call an #ovaljerk?

LBJ was asked why poor, white Americans repeatedly vote against their own best interests?

Response:

"If you can convince lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you”

Someone summarized a quote from Orwell’s 1984 today, and it really resonated with me. I’ve recently been thinking about how Republicans have been working very hard to de-fund, undermine, malign and destroy public education since the 1980s with the result being exactly what Orwell predicted. 1/2

If you are eligible to donate blood and in CA, I urge you to do so, especially if in So CA. I hear there have been a significant number of injuries in the fires in LA, which means blood supplies are going to be depleted. It’s a small thing you can do to help. Pic for attention.
