Do you mean you took the car with 100% SoC and were able to drop it with a low SoC at no extra-charge? 😉

In fact I read somewhere charging station is 1km away from the wind turbines...

But direct lines are not allowed when there is a DSO monopoly, are they?

Does EU RED allow to bypass the DSO when it has a monopoly on distribution, to supply directly a charging station from a PV or wind farm?

Is colocation with batteries, behind the same meter, a smart thing to do?
Do solar canopies over parking lots make sense?
Can the (negative) impact of (excessive) listed building regulations be quantified?
Are dynamic feed-in tariffs going to become widespread?

Distributed batteries and vehicules will be pieces of the puzzle. Because they are behind-the-meter, they can do more than utility-scale batteries : bill optimization, self-consumption, back-up, local flexibility, ...

Honestly, I'm flabbergasted. Place de l'Etoile is one of the worst places to drive through. Vehicles come at you from every direction, it's scary.

Utility Regulations: While utility regulations aren’t yet designed for V2G, Nuvve finds creative ways to integrate EV batteries into storage or demand response frameworks. As utilities increasingly seek demand-side flexibility, regulations are evolving to accommodate V2G solutions.

Bidirectional Chargers: Recognizing the challenge early on, Nuvve developed our own PowerPort AC charger and a range of compact All-in-one DC chargers. We also maintain strong partnerships with charger manufacturers to ensure we stay ahead.

Bidirectional EVs: Vehicles capable of safely discharging to the grid and communicating with chargers are still rare. Nuvve is leading the charge with 8+ years of experience, advocating for standards like 15118-20 and J3068/2, & pushing automakers to integrate V2G as a key feature in their new EVs.

They're in the CapEx spending business : the more transformers they deploy, the more copper they put in the ground, the more returns they get from their asset base. This does not incentivize non-wire alternatives and distributed grid modernization solutions such as flexibilities from DERs.
