From southern #Idlib, #HTS elite units moved south into northern #Hama, joining other forces that reached the north of #Hama city yesterday.

#Assad's regime is now holding firmer frontlines in the provincial capital & in Qomhane, Taybet al-Imam & Maardhes.

#HTS/opposition factions have confirmed full control of all of #Idlib province -- consolidating their capture of Khan Sheikhoun, Saraqeb & Maarat al-Numan and opening the way for large-scale return of IDPs forced out by #Assad's regime in 2020.

You were so on the money with that piece. I'm going to sound mean or harsh or something like that but I do think though that part of the issue is that the "delegates" and the lobbyists mostly eminate from the same cossetted, privileged, privately-educated backgrounds - stuck in the status quo.

What incredible courage it was by Michael Isikoff to risk being caught by Assad's Mukhabarat with copies of the Caesar Photos! It would be great if the @thedailybeast.bsky.social could persuade him to get on bsky. We need that kind of influence on here.
