Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (1974)
This movie rules. The fake Godzilla sequence genuinely got me for a bit and was really fun. I liked the funny space ape aliens, especially the part where one of them was half transformed. Good body horror makeup there.

God Emperor of Dune by Frank Herbert
Possibly my favorite Dune book? Up there with Children for sure. This feels like this would be the wall for many readers. These are no longer adventure stories. These are something else. The moment the Golden Path clicks with you is so beautiful.

Push (2019)
A documentary about housing as a financial commodity vs housing as a thing people need to live. This is the kind of documentary that causes a rage to simmer in the pit of your gut as you watch it. Well made and informative.

Bone Tomahawk (2015)
I went in blind and I think that was the ideal way to experience this film. This rules. It's kind of a western and kind of not? I can't really define it in a meaningful way due to it filling an unusual niche that I didn't realize existed.

Children of Dune by Frank Herbert
I don't know what I can even say about this one. At a certain point a book series starts hitting you so hard and hits you repeatedly in your innermost point and you can't explain it to people who haven't read it and/or are as mentally ill as you in the same way.

This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone
This is actually the gayest thing I've ever read and I've read a lot of gay things. Note the bite impression i left on the top of the book while I was feeling a lot of emotions off this. I can't wait to discuss this at book club.

Team America: World Police (2004)
I honestly don't know how I dodged watching this one for so long. It's not very good. Very obviously by the South Park guys, with all that entails. Puppets are fun tho.

Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert
If I got the first book, this book got me. I honestly think its better than the first one although that may be because I'm more invested by this point. Issues of identity, nature, and destiny flow through a story about conspiracy and religion. Absolutely phenomenal.

Dune: Part One (2021)
This is fucking gorgeous both visually and aurally. Watching this right after reading the book has created such a unique experience for me. The scene with the knife clicked for me so hard as someone who deals with being schizo as Paul does. I loved this movie.
