i just found out both of my senators, both of them democrats, @bennet.senate.gov and @hickenlooper.senate.gov, voted against this. i'm appalled. israel is brazenly trying to ethnically cleanse the gaza strip. i called both their offices to complain. i wish i could do more.
By a vote of 27-17, Senate Democrats voted to stop sending arms shipments to a Netanyahu government which has waged a horrific, immoral and illegal war against the Palestinian people.

recently heard news folks on the radio chastising people for celebrating the ceo murder. i don't remember anyone talking like that when bin laden was killed in 2011 and there was literal dancing in the streets. not gonna condone either, shooting people is mean, but like, whence the difference?
