I can relate a little bit. I've been losing some weight and I'll get halfway to work by the time I realize I'll need to adjust every dozen steps for the rest of the day. Elastic has drawbacks. It's super embarassing.

You should be able to do that with a few stitches you can cut later. You should try to find a guide though because my seamstress skills are rusty.

In this paper, @xevra.world shows that strong mass segregation around SMBHs (lots of heavy stuff, less light stuff) is pretty likely. That's great & expected, but only recently have models shown just how segregated masses might get e.g. arxiv.org/pdf/2502.13209
