Then we went to Tiny Town in Hot Springs which is basically an amazing hand made model train set, and I guess we're train people. I have imposter syndrome because I don't do trainspotting, but that's definitely too many trains in one vacation to not be train people.

So glad Austin is back to people complaining that new housing will hurt their property values. Years of "new housing makes housing expensive" talk was tedious.
Our discourse is normal again and hurting your property values is a good thing because it means housing is more available and affordable.

I have never seen this barometer bush (cenizo) bloom like this. And it smells. I'm not sure I like the smell, but still...

The lemon beebalm is technically in the flowerbeds. Technically. Also blocking half the path. I can't bring myself to trim or pull it though.

I took some photos of the spring garden. The bluebonnets are fading, but the mist flowers haven't bloomed yet. We've gotten some rain. More in the link.

Achievement unlocked. I took my e-bike to the lake and rented my son a @capmetro bicycle. It was a great ride. We saw a brass band practicing, another b-cycler playing his guitar and lots of doggos. 12/10 would recommend.
