Okay so here's a little fun fact: Canadians call these "pencil crayons" because "crayon" is French for "pencil" and all of our packaging for consumer products is bilingual.

We all grew up with packages that say "Coloured pencils // Crayons de couleur" and it became pencil crayons.

I’ve not seen the full Dandan Secret Lair. I don’t really care if I get credit or anything from it. Rhystic Studies and informed players know its origins. I just hope I’ll be able to own a copy of the official release and not have them sell out to scalpers and stuff like I’ve heard can be a problem.

Just to be blunt, if you want Wired and 404 and The Verge to employ reporters who understand the memes on bullet casings and can connect them to gaming culture while having the legal and support resources to deal with waves of harassment when we do it… you have to subscribe and pay for the work
the entire media ecosystem is just not built or ready for events like this and far right billionaires like larry ellison buying news orgs will only make this worse

I know everyone likes to dunk on Tesla these days, but if you're "partially" responsible for an accident and get a $243 million judgement, what would be the judgement for fully responsible?

Seems really out of whack with reality.
A jury found Tesla partially liable for a fatal 2019 crash in Key Largo, Florida, ordering the company to pay $200 million in punitive damages, a stunning rebuke for CEO Elon Musk’s company.

The outcome is a stunning rebuke for Tesla, which for years has fought to absolve itself of responsibility when its technology is involved in a crash.
