Got to play as a player today and the GM ran a monster that I'm planning on running next session. They changed the ability that does 2d6 MP damage AoE at the start of turn to an ability that burns your HP and MP for an amount equal to number of Spirit Tokens you have.

I love the ability to upgrade some monsters and downgrade others so I can use the monsters I want and still challenge my party at the appropriate level.

Had to move my regular TTRPG @cloudbreakerrpg.bsky.social to Sunday night. This opens up Saturday night to run tutorial missions for new players. I ran them once already and there are things I would do slightly different based on how the first ones went.

Cloud Breaker Alliance. 2d6 system that uses 25 ft. zones for movement and determining range. Tokens that can activate player as well as monster abilities. Some familiar 5e mechanics (edge/ setback; crits) meet anime storytelling while being different enough to be its own.
