Trees rustle in the wind as leaves blow overhead. Two birds take off into the sky. A foot is seen on the banks of a running river, the owner attached to it off screen. A person slowly opens their eyes, mascara streaked down their face. They awake to find themselves horizontal on the ground, hair stringy and clothes stained and torn. The person lies on the ground as their fingers twitch, regaining motion. They struggle to get up, and vomit water and leeches onto the ground. "Ow... my head... what happened..." they think to themself as they clutch their head and walk away from the river bank, further into the woods. "Where am I... who am I-" they begin to think, before looking down and noticing something. "I'm... I'm injured?!" they think as they look upon their own chest, breasts torn away to expose ribs and rotting flesh. They reach their hand to their ribs and think, "But I... can't feel it..." They then notice something in their pocket as they feel themself, and pull out a pristine looking sewing kit, which they comment on in confusion. "What's going on? I need help..." they think as they look around, "Maybe if I follow the river, I'll find something..." They trek along the river's edge before coming to what seems to be the back alleys of a small town, "Buildings! And there's someone there!" they hopefully think as they lean against a tree and spot a delivery person in the side alley of a business.

I closed my ko-fi membership because I saw a post explaining how everything is monetized and wants your money and I felt guilty like I was feeding into that.

Tho I think artists can and should be able to make money from their hard work, especially when it's their only income. I'm lucky in that I-

That'll make it harder." one sketch depicts a character looking over the edge of a cliff and thinking, "I wonder what would happen?" an OC confronts another, emphasizing to them how they must prioritize their own safety lest the OC take it upon themselves, to unwanted measures. two OCs talk as they walk. one explains to the other how they were a "dragon" in a past life, and how they would travel long distances to many places. The OC saying this is carrying their prosthetic arms under their stubbed arm.
