All that said, SH would not be SH if people chose to shop at Walmart. While we know a Walmart must exist close by because Jess worked there driving a forklift, everything the cult-like members of SH could need or want is just a hop, skip, and jump away, and provided by someone they know!

2. Stars Hollow has a store for everything. According to Luke there are 12 dedicated to porcelain unicorns. A store just for twinkle lights. A store of all cat merchandise. Shoe repair. Butcher. Bakery. Bookstore. Grocery. Ice cream.

Since it's run its course, I must now air my grievances about the #Walmart / #GilmoreGirls ad:
1. We have seen Luke rant against a lot, including shopping malls and golf courses, and these rants almost always have an anti-consumerism/environmental component.
He simply would never shop at Walmart.
