With Captain Wayne on he North Jetty Trail, Coos Bay, Oregon. This trail was a bit taxing. We left the west side of the bay, miles from the jetty, trekked the sand dunes to the ocean - then walked the ocean beach south to the jetty. From there we took the bay side back to our starting point.

At Oregon's Shaniko ghost town we explored an old dump they used. We got a surprise when we turned over this rusty stove - a rattlesnake shaking his tail. Needless to say, there was a lot of us jumping back.

Max the Wonder Dog. Max was the smartest dog I ever owned. When I said, "Training time," he would sit and actively try to get what I was teaching him. He was a doxie-terrier mix. May he rest in peace. I loved that dog. ♥

Interesting rock formation. Not sure, but I think this was on Oregon's Blue Gulch trail.
